Weekend Plans: The British Biscuit Festival!

June 8, 2012
The British Biscuit Festival

With the Diamond Jubilee celebrations coming to a halt, we have been looking for another excuse to celebrate all things British. What better way than to enjoy the much loved British tradition – the biscuit! From Jammy Dodgers to digestives, custard creams to party rings biscuits are about as British as it gets.

Starting today until Sunday 10th June, the Brunswick Centre in Bloomsbury will be hosting the UK’s first ever British Biscuit Festival! Yeah! The three day event offers London biscuit fanatics the chance to take part in food-based tournaments and tea dances, build a biscuit workshops, and mix and match the nibble of your choice!

There will be many stalls to browse at the farmer’s markets as well as live music! And if the biscuit madness gets too much, there will be a pop-up social area designed by vintage interior enthusiasts The Bijoux Editrix. A brilliant and yummy way to get our of the rain this weekend!
