Yumi SS16 Press Day Sneak Peek

December 7, 2015

Usually reserved for the fashion press, editors and bloggers, Press Day is where we reveal all the dresses and separates we’ll be sporting in the coming season.

But we want to give you a head start on spring’s hottest styles with an exclusive sneak peek at Yumi SS16.

You’re welcome.

Floral Embroidery

Florals? For Spring? Groundbreaking. We know, we know. This trend never fails to be a general theme throughout most collections and that’s because quite simply, it’s pretty and we like it. So there.

Adorning everything from occasion dresses to summery tops, for SS16 it’s all about delicate floral prints with striking colourful embroidery a la Holly Fulton and Erdem.

Bright Lace

When you think lace, you think Spring, right? We love the super-feminine lace details on slick separates’ collars to cuffs. This season sees an update with vibrant hued lace pieces featuring heavily a la Burberry Prorsum, Preen and Christopher Kane.

We incorporated sheer, gauzy and natural fabrics to create an ethereal feel to the collection.

Unique Prints

Our exclusive prints designed by our talented designers in-house make up a large part of our SS16 collection. From quirky cacti and coral reef-inspired prints to Amalfi coast digital print and ’60s print motifs, there’s a plethora of perfect summery prints to admire and make a statement with.

Emblazoned on midi skirts, tops and dresses, it’s easy to create a co-ordinating, matchy-matchy look effortlessly.

Sophisticated Embellishment

A key feature in our collections, our in-house designed embellishments add a dazzling edge to our dresses, knitwear and separates. With bold beading, gleaming gemstones and sparkly sequin details, there’s plenty of embellished pieces to choose from.

On occasion tops and dresses to everyday tops and skirts, you’ll always look super special day or evening.
