Great British Bake Off x Yumi: The Style Collab

It’s all heating up in the Great British Bake Off kitchen. Whether you’re watching from home as a baker extraordinaire, or the show has inspired you to purchase your very first rolling pin, Bake Off – like Yumi – has something for everyone (occasion wear, dresses, curve, accessories – you get the picture).

And while we critically analyse the consistency of sticky toffee puddings, and compare methods for the *perfect* anti-gravity cakes, we at Yumi have one eye on the mini rolls, the other on the contestant’s fits. And we think they would all look *fabulous* in Yumi.

(Sorry Chigs, George, Guiseppe and Jurgen, this one is exclusively for the ladies!)

Amanda, 56

First up is 56-year-old Amanda, from London. Amanda is a Metropolitan Police Service detective… so will be sure to detect a bad outfit in a flash. Rather scarily, she’s said she won’t hesitate to arrest judges Paul Hollywood or Prue Leith if they criticise her bakes.

But we’ve noticed Amanda’s love of florals and colours, meaning we won’t fear an ominous knock on the door (hello! fashion police!) when we dress her in a quirky Yumi fit. We think Amanda would look stunning in our Mela Green Floral Midi Shirt Dress.

Crystelle, 26

26-year-old, self-appointed ‘chief-taster’ Crystelle, has been stunning with her creative skills this year. From her apple and vanilla brandy snaps, to her gravity defying ‘bouquet-cake’ of flowers, the quadrilingual millennial uses her diverse heritage to inspire her baking.

So – no boring outfits will do Crystelle justice. We’ve noticed she likes classic styles with ruffle detailing, and can see our girl Crystelle simply glowing in this Mela Red Ruffle Jumpsuit. Bright, bold and beautiful!

Freya, 19

19-year-old equestrian Freya has been leading the way for plant-powered puddings on this year’s Great British Bake Off. We simply loved her rocking horse show stopper in biscuit week. We think our ethical Queen would look amazing in our Yumi Navy Recycled Horse Shirt Dress. Sustainable and stylish!

Lizzie, 28

Last but definitely not least, it’s car production operative and cake enthusiast, Lizzie. Not only a creative baker, we fell in love with Lizzie for her cheeky Liverpudlian craic (get in the bin, Paul!).

We think Lizzie would look sensational in this Yumi Curve Green Zebra Print Wrap Midi Dress – an unique outfit as bright and bubbly as her personality.
