How would you describe your autumn/winter style?
My A/W style is classic, with an edgy twist. I love putting together monochromatic looks by mixing blacks, whites and greys, but I always like to add a splash of something different, whether it be a faux fur layer, or some off-beat accessories.
Who are your biggest influences when it comes to the way you dress?
I love reading other fashion blogs, I think they’re wonderful for relatable, achievable, fashion inspiration.
Have you always been passionate about clothes?
I started my blog, ciaraodoherty.com about five years ago, and that was the start of my love-affair and passion for fashion, and expressing myself through my outfits.
Where would you wear your Yumi look?
I would wear my Yumi look to lunch with my girlfriends! It’s the perfect outfit to keep you cosy in the Autumn chill while still looking stylish of course!
What do you love about Yumi?
I love how comfortable and easy to wear their collection is, while still having a trendy, fashion forward feel to them.
What are your favourite trends for AW15?
I’m loving anything suede and fringed, and also earthy colours like rust, tan and mustard.
What are your essential autumn/winter style tips?
Layer, layer, layer! Get clever with your layering and you will always be warm and cosy, while still looking fashionable and trendy.
What are your favourite pieces from the Yumi AW15 collection?
My favourite has to be the green faux leather pencil skirt! Its the perfect AW piece that can be styled for day or night.
What makes your country an amazing place to live?
I love Ireland for it’s amazing energy, beautiful culture, and amazing sense of humour. It’s a fun place to live, for sure!
How would you describe your country’s winter style?
We like to layer up during the winter, as it gets rather cold, and we are fond of a statement coat!
Where would you recommend visiting in your country?
I would definitely recommend heading west to Galway, my hometown. There’s so much music and culture there, with amazing restaurants and a great nightlife!
