Easter weekend: Mother-daughter edition

Lambs are leaping, daffodils are blooming and we’re eating our body weight in Cadbury’s crème eggs… Yes, we’re not sure how it happened either, but spring has officially sprung. With Easter weekend just around the corner and more excitingly, two bank holidays to plan, it therefore means a weekend filled with social engagements and outfit planning.

To help bring our love of fashion and family together, we’ve selected a few of our favourite outfits for you and your mini-me to wear. Whether you’re attending a Church service, soaking up the sunshine or spending time with family, our easy guide has an outfit perfect for every occasion.

Sunday lunch with the family

Easter Sunday and over-indulging. The two go together like bread and butter, milk and cookies, Ross and Rachel. So, if like us, you plan on tucking into roast potatoes and chocolate eggs, ensure your outfit is both stylish and comfortable. This relaxed shift dress boasts a seasonal appropriate floral print, short sleeves, round neckline and keyhole back.

One floral print is never enough and we couldn’t resist mentioning this skater dress for your mini me. Designed with a pleated skirt for added movement and a concealed zip fastening for stress-free changing, it is the perfect mix of femininity and classic style.

Egg hunt

If you’re heading out for the annual Easter egg hunt, this pastel yellow dress is perfect. Featuring a butterfly and floral pattern all over, this printed dress boasts a floaty skirt for added movement, fabric waist belt for a flattering fit, short sleeves and a V-neckline. Unfortunately, a wicker basket isn’t included but we think it’ll look great styled with tan wedges and a lightweight jacket.

A fitting choice for the girl with a sweet tooth, this whimsical pink dress is ideal for an Easter egg hunt.  Boasting a tea party pattern all over and detachable waist belt, she’ll love twirling around. Due to it’s sweet nature, pair it with strappy shoes or even stylish pumps.

Family gatherings and garden parties

With spring back, half term and bank holidays all taking centre stage this month, it’s therefore time to dust off the BBQ and catch up with friends and family. Perfect for a special occasion, this tonal blue lace dress features a fitted waist and flared skirt for added movement. Style with a pair of metallic heels for an on-trend outfit you’ll feel great in.

Let her embrace the warm weather with this blue lace dress. Falling to the knee, it features a pleated skirt and back zip fastening. Pair with metallic pumps and a waist belt for her next big formal occasion or family gathering. Additionally it would look great with a sparkly clutch bag.

A walk in the countryside

Last but not least, after a weekend of chocolate eggs, roast dinners and cocktails; fresh air and a walk in the countryside is exactly what we need. This denim shirt dress is a winning choice, featuring on-trend floral embroidery and a tie waist belt; it is perfect for a relaxed stroll. It looks great styled with ankle boots but also with flats; therefore the choice is yours!

A comfortable choice for a day spent running around at the park, this denim smock dress is a must- have addition to her spring wardrobe. Featuring trendy floral embroidery, side pockets and button fastenings down the front; layer it with a lightweight cardigan on chilly evenings.
