TEAM Nepal

Today, we’d like to take some time to let you know about something close our hearts here at Yumi. Our founder Uttam is from the small Asian country of Nepal, which has stunning landscapes and a rich history. Uttam’s roots are very important to him, which is why he and all of us here are big supporters of TEAM Nepal.

TEAM (which stands for Together Everyone Achieves More) Nepal is a charity that aims to improve the lives of Nepalese people living in rural communities, by focusing on improving children’s rights, education, environment and health awareness. In their own words,  “We believe that education is the most precious gift that we can offer. Education provides people with the tools they need to improve their own lives without always having to rely on others.”

Here at Yumi we love a positive message and the ethos of TEAM Nepal is something we really believe in. You can see more on the work they are doing with Nepalese schools here.
