The Out-There Knit

It looks like Jil Sander’s bizarre but oh-so-desirable Picasso-themed sweater of SS12 has caught on, as more and more fashionistas are embracing the kooky sweater. A cool and quirky knit is a must-have for your wardrobe and I’m thinking, the wackier the better!

Model Cara Delevingne (above left) is not one for following a trend half-heartedly, pictured showing off her Jeremy Scott Bart Simpson-ified sweater. She even has the matching skirt! Alexa Chung (above right), queen of the quirks, snapped up one of the J.W Anderson bat motif knits for Topshop.

It goes with pretty much anything – from leather shorts and tailored pants to skater skirts or the classic jean. It’s also super-cosy of course!
