Our design intern Clara flies the flag for pink this spring / summer.

How to wear pink without looking too girly or childish is always a subject that divides opinions. To settle the argument we set our design intern, Clara a challenge to style spring’s hottest shade. Using pieces from the Uttam Boutique and Yumi collections she talks us through her perfect spring / summer outfits below.

Ideal style for summer days out with friends or even family gatherings and going to a BBQ, our Uttam Boutique bird Print sun dress in coral is one of our favorites here at Yumi. Its on the bright side to our pink edit, which we are very excited about this season. We’re seeing more corals in our palettes, and on the catwalks – perfect for those who aren’t into soft pastels and want to stay on trend. This fit and flare shape chosen by the design team is also trending this season across the collections giving everything an ultra feminine look.

Special Occasions Mix

Our special occasion pieces can be mixed and matched alongside each other and we have some striking pieces with gorgeous Jacquards, rose button detailing and metallic threads – great for spring weddings or special events. Our Chanel inspired 60’s jacket is on trend with its daisy design and pastel colours that we are seeing more and more of on the catwalks. 60’s vintage style and florals really inspired the design team this season across our collections. Match with our sequin evening bag , Ruby Shoo Clara heels with cut out detail and flower applique.
