Tea Break Tuesday: Happy Birthday Olsen Twins!

Happy Birthday to the world’s most famous twins! Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen turn 27 this week (Thursday 13th June) and to celebrate we’ve taken a trip back in time to look at the sister’s best dressed fashion moments.

Since the start of their career’s at just 6 months old, Mary Kate and Ashley had a penchant for dressing in identical outfits, developing their own sense of personal style later in life – but still dressing alike. Case in point; both sisters love to wear over-sized round sunglasses, bling rings and carry over-sized tote bags, whilst wearing plenty of black and having a fondness for fur. Whether on the front row or the red carpet the sister’s polished looks have drawn an army of fans – and led to the launch of their own fashion labels; The Row in 2006, followed by a more casual line in 2007, Elizabeth and James, named after their younger siblings.  If confirmation of their fashion status was needed, they were nominated for their first major fashion award last year – CFDA Womenswear Designer of the Year award.
