Behind Our Garden Print
With the weather warming up and spring in full bloom, it’s time to head outside and embrace nature. But, since we like doing things differently at Yumi, we’re reversing the norm and bringing wildlife into your wardrobe! How? We’re so glad you asked…
To celebrate horticulture and the great outdoors, we have a real treat in-store for you this season. Our designers have nurtured our love of gardening, flowers and brilliantly bright colours to create a print that we can all dig. Yes, garden prints are back and they’re here to stay for spring/summer! After all, there’s no better way to show off your love of nature than by wearing it.
To help you get to know our exclusive Cadaqués range a little better, let’s go behind the garden print and find out more about our design story!
Bold Broderie

This summer, broderie isn’t just big…it’s huge! So, we’ve honoured this trend and added a playful twist to our summer dress with pockets. We’ve put our Yumi stamp on it too; have you noticed the 60s shape? With hand-selected fabric that’s made for the warm weather, take this dress to the seaside, brunch or out for dinner!
Retro Pleats

If you look through our Yumi collection, it’s not hard to find a couple of flowers and exclusive prints. But, this season we’ve upped the ante and included the actual plant pot as well! As shown with our knee-length skirt, the cream base acts as a canvas, while the mixed pots look like they’ve been painted on. The skirt comes complete with a fitted waist, chic pleats and an original design.
When styling, it’s all about the colourful hues in the day and sleek and neutral shades for after dark. We’ve teamed our day looks with a bright t-shirt that makes the skirt pop!
Vintage Shapes

For those who loved the skirt and want to go one step further, there’s always our skater dress! Our designers have stuck to the vintage vibe with the sweetheart neckline, but have updated the shape with a waistband for extra curve-caressing! And when paired with the garden print, it’s the perfect statement-making piece at BBQ’s and family dos.
