Make a bold statement with our SS15 art prints
Artsy prints take centre stage in our SS15 art prints collection with Kandinsky and Jeff Koons-inspired motifs splashed over separates and dresses.
Bang on-trend, artsy prints were seen on the runways of Valentino, Dsquared2 and Alice Temperley to name just a few.
Easy and fun to wear, it’s pretty obvious we’re big fans of mixing pastels with primary colours here at Yumi HQ.
We talked to our Uttam Boutique Head Designer, Michelle Luk, to get a few more deets on the inspiration behind the punchy, spring-ready prints.
“The collection is inspired by pop art. It’s fun and it’s quite colourful and we’re using that in a more mature way, injecting colour into this tran-seasonal collection. I looked at Jeff Koons prints that are fun and leopard prints which most women love to wear. It’s basically the naivety and playfulness of their art that we tried to incorporate into the capsule collection. Everyone is a bit down and it’s dark and they need a little colour injected into their lives to cheer their wardrobe up.”
