Stunning Gowns at the Emmy Awards!

Last night in sunny (not that we’re jealous…….) LA, the Emmy Awards took place, they are the Oscars for television shows and the ladies dress up just as much on the red carpet! We have had a look through all the fabulous images and picked our edit of the best dresses from the night. We particularly loved the above dresses worn by Kelly Osbourne, Christina Hendricks and Michelle Dockery, all super elegant and feminine.

We noticed key colour trends of red, yellow and blue coming through strongly and these gorgeous ladies in red, from left to right, Kat Denning (from 2 broke girls), Cat Deeley and Gretchen Moll were the best examples of how to wear this bold red correctly:

Not many people can carry off canary yellow – especially if you are blonde! That is why we love Claire Danes and Kaley Cuoco (Penny from The Big Bang Theory) for being daring and taking that chance. It paid off – they look fantastic!

Moving onto a cooler shade, this ice blue palette was favoured by Zoe Deshanell and Nicole Kidman, they chose very different styles of dresses but we love both of their looks.

Finally, we ‘re rounding off with two ladies from one of our favourite shows – Mad Men! January Jones and Elisabeth Moss both pulled it all out in the style stakes. Amazing!
