Tea Break Tuesday: Billboard Awards Best & Worst Dressed

Never mind who took home the most gongs from the Billboard Music Awards last week, at Yumi HQ we are more interested in who wore what – and who wins the award for best (and worst) dressed celeb.

In our best dressed camp falls Yumi favourite Taylor Swift in a sparkly blue Zuhar Murad mini dress, alongside fellow singer Miley Cyrus who took a risk in a monochrome Balmain jumpsuit (see below) which divided opinion – but we loved! Also proving their style credentials were actresses Chloe Moretz, who wore a Fendi dress, and Jeniffer Morrison who wore a revealing black gown from Kristian Aadnevik’s A/W ’13 collection. Our other favourites here at Yumi HQ were actress Emmy Rossum in another Zuhar Murad creation and Kelly Rowland in Rami Al Ali Spring 2013 Couture silver gown which was embossed with holographic-like paillettes.

Meanwhile, in our worst dressed firing line was Jennifer Lopez, who wore yet another Zuhair Murad dress in gold, complete with a very revealing plunging neckline and sheer bottom. Carly Rae Jepsen in American label Dyanthe also failed to impress us, as the black mesh design seemed a bit ill-fitting. Also flashing more flesh than necessary was singer Kesha who wore a Givenchy Spring 2013 black tunic with ruffle detailing and side splits to the waist – and no pants. Other red-carpet offenders were Jennifer Nettles wearing Edition by Georges Chakra and singer Nayer whor brought her dog on to the blue carpet to distract from her outfit.
