5 reasons Yumi loves Spring

Spring has officially sprung and Easter is fast upon us…eep!

Apart from chomping on copious amounts of chocolate eggs at Easter, we’ve a few other reasons we love the start of spring:

The longer days

The days get longer from this weekend so don’t forget to turn your clocks forward! That means still being able to enjoy some sunshine on your way home from work and getting your Vitamin D fix. Yesss.

Feeling generally better

After the doom and gloom of winter, spring just seems to lift everyone’s mood. The grumpiest of people seem to get friendlier, and the world is up for relaxing and enjoying the good times.

Baby animals

How could you not love seeing baby birds tweeting in the trees, little lambs bouncing about and the rest of nature coming out of hibernation? It’s the height of cuteness. Enough said.

It gets a little warmer

The more sunshine, the warmer it’ll get. Score. Time to get your sunnies prepped for that first warm day of the year then…

Better clothes in the shops

Say goodbye to dark colours and heavy knits. Yep, spring/summer fashion is just, well, better than autumn/winter, right? From floral prints to maxi dresses, you really can’t beat breezy styles and fresh, light hues.
