Eggcellent Activities To Do This Easter Weekend

So you’ve bought all the trimmings for dinner, you’ve purchased every Easter egg on the shelves (except that coveted avocado one!) and you’ve set your work email to out of office… Yep that’s right folks, it’s officially the Easter weekend.

While you may be tempted to spend the entire time at home eating your body weight in festive themed treats- it does sound very tempting! Here are a few alternatives for you to check out, in case you fancy stepping outside and enjoying the nice weather (fingers crossed) …

Bottomless Brunch

It’s a classic for a reason. Brunch and Easter go together just like cheese on toast, Ross and Rachel and us and Chris Hemsworth. Always a crowd pleaser and a great way to sneak in some prosecco mid-afternoon, text a few of your best girlfriend and get the celebrations started.

Make your own Easter egg hunt

It was our favourite Easter game growing up and now we’re adults… it’s still our favourite. Take back this childhood classic this weekend by making your own adult version of the popular scavenger hunt. Whether you use yummy chocolate eggs, or a cheeky beverage…be sure to not let your competitive side take over!

Visit a new city

We don’t think we needed one but a long weekend is the perfect excuse to travel. Take advantage of the 4 day week and explore a new town or city. Whether it be a relaxing trip to Devon or finding creative inspiration in Manchester, travelling is always a good idea.

Take a trip to the cinema

Unwind this weekend with a trip to the cinema. It’s chilled, doesn’t require much effort and is the perfect way to spend an evening once your chocolate coma hits. So whether you’re into romantic comedies or fancy a scare, this idea will always get a 5 star rating.
