Autumn / Winter 2013 Press Day Sneak Peek
Last week Yumi held its Autumn/Winter 2013 press day, officially unveiling the new collection. It also revealed the newest face along with the new face of the brand for the season; up-and-coming singer Nina Nesbitt.
The press day, which took place at Yumi’s central London showroom, had an Alice in Wonderland. Inspired by some of the prints in the collection, a huge Flamingo graphic attracted attention from the street and an upside down table stuck to the ceiling, tea cups stuck to the walls and a deer wearing a top hat created drama inside. Guests we’re treated to refreshments with ‘drink me’ labels and tarot card readings from the talented Lady Lilac.
The collection stays true to its English Heritage roots with the quirky edge customers have come to know and love.
Once winter arrives, you’ll be able to layer in classic knitted dresses and striking prints, alongside an extensive outerwear range. The new season coats and jackets feature accents with some very exciting accessories! You’re going to love them.
Meanwhile, the updates on knitwear include scrumptious yarns in the newest feeling shapes, guaranteed to work over any of the lovely eccentric printed blouses. Keeping to the Yumi tradition, you’ll find prints galore on dresses and scarves, plus we’ve got half printed skirts, leggings and jeans in tactile new fabrics.
We can’t wait to show you the entire collection in full come August, but for now here’s a sneaky peek!
