New week, new festival!
Ohh yes, this year’s festivals are really kicking off. Last bank holiday saw our first instalment of Summer Diaries where our Marketing Assistant reviewed and sharing her adventures of brand new festival Lost Village.
This weekend Faye‘s giving you a front row seat into the adventures of We Are FSTVL. So leap, jump, skip or walk this way and step closer to the second segment of Summer Diaries: We Are FSTVL 2015 Addition – no rain macs needed!
New week, new festival. Ohh yes, this year is really kicking off! Last bank holiday saw me situated within the woodlands of Lincolnshire for Lost Village, while this weekend I made a Sunday appearance at We Are FSTVL.
Staying true to British weather.. it’s of-course raining. But no fear, my hunters are ready to defend off any type of mud!
Putting the British weather aside, today’s line up is looking like a perfectly built radio playlist for any Sunday funday. Route 94, Jack Master, DJ EZ, Ben Pearce and Jamie Jones are amongst the handful of artist to grace Sundays stages.
Once in, we made our way through the crowds of festival-goers and headed to the VIP village where a complimentary pamper parlour, massage area, hot tubs, champagne bar and cocktail bar were waiting. Although we opted for a Bulmers and wet picnic bench, it was nice to see We Are FSTVL including these little touches for the crowds.
Venturing out of the VIP village, we headed to see what else the festival had to offer. We made our way to the We Are Fstvl stage where Heidi had set up camp for her hour and half set. We passed through enjoying what we could hear before taking a 5 minute shelter break in the #lightbox platform which overlooked the main stage. With beds, bean bags, phone chargers and face painting this retreat from the drizzling rain turned in to be quite the treat.
Keeping on the fruity flavoured Bulmers, we managed to see both Ben Pearce and Ricardo Villalobo who both set the crowds into an electric frenzy!
With the sun making an appearance and all that ‘bar to stage, stage to bar’ walking – it was time for a snack.
With food for every taste bud… We are FSTVL didn’t leave us disappointed!
Voodoo Ray’s pizza slices caught my eye – there’s nothing better then a slice of pepperoni!
As the night closed in, Jamie Jones, AME and Steve Angello all closed their respective stages, while DJ SKT and Camelphat were the final acts to officially end the weekend.
While the crowds seemed to be ready for the after party… I was sure ready for my bed.
Until next time…
