Granada Granada!
Purely for pleasure rather than business, one of our HQ team members headed to Granada in Spain last week. After viewing several pictures of tasty looking tapas and tempting vino tinto (red wine with lemonade – and if possible it should be lemon fanta – bizarre!), we’re thinking of booking a flight there too. But beware, apparently the temperature is fast heading for 40 degrees during the midday heat – if you’re not a sun worshipper its best to stick to the cooling streets of historical Granada up in the Alhambra Palace – its a spectacular palace constructed in the 15th century by Arabs and has wonderful tiled features and…

We popped down to Graduate Fashion Week 2012
We popped by the Graduate Fashion Week Gala Awards last night to take in the future faces of fashion and we have to say, we were extremely impressed! There were crazy shapes, vibrant textiles and colours galore! Graduate Fashion Week showcases the collections of more than 1,200 BA students from 40 universities and colleges throughout the UK. Chloe Jones, from Bath Spa University, took home the prestigious Gold Award, worth £20,000 for the best student collection. The monastic themed collection, entitled Our Father Who Art in Heaven, mixed stone-grey chiffon and crystal-embossed sweat-shirting, image above. Style Crush: Givenchy Resort 2013
Thanks to the rain, you may feel as if this Spring/Summer has barely started but the fashion world has already moved on to NEXT Spring, with the Resort 2013 shows that are happening at the moment. These collections give us a glimpse into the trends and styles we will all be wearing next Summer. The Givenchy show particularly caught our eye, with its asymmetric shapes, cape inspired sleeve detailing and folky, rustic patterns, we have a big style crush. With the Diamond Jubilee celebrations coming to a halt, we have been looking for another excuse to celebrate all things British. Kate Middleton took the Diamond Jubilee as an opportunity to make it clear exactly who her favourite British designer is, as she was seen in two stunning Alexander McQueen outfits, above, plus she wore a McQueen coat over her dress at the Jubilee concert. Sarah Burton, creative director of Alexander McQueen designed her now iconic wedding dress last year and it clearly cemented a passion for the label for Kate.
